1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using CaresFor, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of service
CaresFor is a mobile application platform designed to connect caregivers and family members. The service provides real-time updates, care coordination tools, and communication features to streamline the caregiving journey.
3. User roles and accounts
Primary account holders create and manage care spaces, invite participants, and control access. Invited users may view or update the care information available to them according to the role and permissions assigned by the care space owner. You are responsible for accurate account information and keeping your credentials secure.
4. No medical advice
CaresFor is an information-sharing and organizational tool only. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. In an emergency, call 911 immediately.
5. Subscription and payments
Access to certain features may require a paid subscription. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law. App Store and Google Play handle billing for mobile purchases, and their terms may also apply.
6. User responsibilities
Use the App lawfully and respectfully. Do not misuse another person’s information, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful material, or use the service to make decisions that require professional medical judgment.
7. Real-time notifications
CaresFor may send push notifications, reminders, and care-feed activity that you enable. Delivery can depend on your device, operating system, network, and notification settings, so the App does not guarantee that every notification will arrive on time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northlo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or to comply with law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
